  1. So today was a great day. Had some customers fall through, so had a bit of time today. Swapping the front sump girdle for a rear sump version. Re-torquing the main bolts. New rear main seal while im in there. And new rear mounted pick-up. Oil pan installed, and cross bolts with thread sealant. And finally!!!! The two together. ARP calls for 125ft. lbs, for the random bolts I had to order. Done and done. *Note to self, head bolts are not easily accessed with cams installed already, so small learning curve. Cams reinstalled. (Again) And started getting some timing ready to do, but enough for today.

  2. Just keep the stock box and drill a couple of holes in the front with a hole saw and drop in a hi flow filter. Otherwise go turbo side intake if you want lots of noise, but it costs a bit more

  3. As it was sliced. Doesn't look much, but unbelievably good.

  4. Not really to late now, but if you look at the head stud washers they're not wide enough, maybe wonder off to a bolt place & see if you can find better fitting ones (Atomic sell them & I think they give the size on their website)

  7. I've got an owner's manual at home, pretty sure it's got the sequence and torque specs. I'll post a photo when I get home if you need it

  8. Welcome aboard We've had a few septics jumping on the Barra's @k31th - time to add a conversion/engine implant sub forum - will let @SelectivePC kick it off with his project. The Ford inline 6 has been a staple of the Aussie car engines for decades - they even stopped selling V8's for a while over here, but the I6 never died. There have been a fair few times where they've had to detune (and/or under report the power of) the 6 because the top of the line performance V8 they sold at the time couldn't keep up. Most of the people here are on the turbo versions of the Barra - definitely something worth looking into
