  2. Also did the Front Upper Control Arm inner bushes and that with the rear centre diff and side bushes - just seem to feel the road better through the wheels and accelerator - just feel the road nuances more clearly on the foot pedal for some reason ... Put 2 new front tyres on today - yeah Goodyear Eagle Assymetrics IIIs 19" (people may know my thread on them ...) And submitted my leave request yesterday - see how that comes out (just that we are bit heavy on work at the moment) but hoping the rest of the guys can carry on without my help that weekend.

  5. Had the F6 serviced at Pitlane in Frankston this week - had centre diff and side bushes upgraded to Super Pro and some other stuff that I'd been putting off ... Ben quite happy to talk about what he thinks beforehand and what they have done afterwards I'll try to have accommodation options posted up next week. Hope we can find somewhere where most of us can be together. Anybody thinking of coming along and have any questions - please post up

  7. I haven't had much time to work on anything but homework and studying. But I was able to sneak away from all of that and start cleaning up the engine bay. I pulled out the engine wiring harness and and the harness for the lights. I will be doing a full wire tuck and weld up all the unnecessary holes while the engine is out. I will also be making new brake lines and converting to hydro boost for a cleaner look.

  8. The cheapest FG intake I found was $500+shipping. So its over $600 by the time its shipped to me here in America. I'll be porting the hell out of this intake and eliminating the flappers. I'll probably end up making a forward facing intake similar to the PlazmaMan or an RB26 with the front facing TB. I mainly did this out of curiosity. I want to see what I can do with the stock intake. Several reasons. 1. I don't like the 2 hard 90 degree turns these adapters require. Hard 90 degree turns hurt air speed. It probably won't effect rear wheel HP, but every little helps. 2. I don't like the way it looks. 3. Cost, I see the relocation kit sell for $350+shipping. Shipping it to America means it will be almost $500 for a relocation kit that I don't like. Flipping the TB only cost me an hour and a half. 4. Curiosity and boredom. I have been wondering if flipping the TB would work. I had free time so I decided to give it a shot.
