  1. Picked up some 4 pot front brembos with fairly new pads and discs this arvo. The fellow was trying to sell a whole vixen red GT-P that had been stacked but I woke up this morning with a message from the bloke saying he’s decided to part it out now and to make an offer on the front brakes I originally messaged him about a couple days ago. So like usual you offer low and make your way up but he was happy with my initial offer of $500 for callipers only sight unseen. He brought the disc brakes as well to our meeting spot and accepted a extra $50 for me to take them. They appear to be RDA drilled and slotted and don’t even have a lip at all on them yet. I would have much preferred DBA but beggars can’t be choosers. Caught on the wrong end of the pay month I intend on picking up the rear set up as well next weekend. Anyways, I will clean and inspect these bad boys tomorrow!

  3. I'll have a look at it. But I'd rather fix the issue once and for all. Considering the build so far, the cost is negligible. To me, it will be worth every cent just to have the peace of mind, knowing that it repaired and reliable. Thanks for you kind comment, 4321. It has been a long drawn out journey and it really should have been completed over a year ago. I lost interest there for a long time, but I did to use the time to upgrade it some more. I'll get back in to it when the ignition is repaired. On another note, my engine guy has just purchased a new hub dyno. It's now convenient for me to finalise everything (tune) and I'm looking forward to seeing what she pushes... My wiring guyvjust messaged me and said: "Haltech has released a new up date some way cool sh*t for flat shift and the like still no cruise control though haha". It'll be interesting to see what they have upgraded.

  4. Wowzerz indeed shoot me a PM mate but be warned I don’t do anything half arsed so it’s going to be more expensive through me but obviously done to a very high standard with quality parts FYI the stock injectors have like 240rwkw in them at an absolute maximum ! The factory cat is out at 260rwkw and pretty much same with the fuel pump !

  8. B series are common for that. Either put a S/H column in or fix it with the kit. never used that kit but I think it's a better idea than a 3/4 worn out S/H column once its in should be the end of it. and by the way fantastic build!

  9. When I removed mine I lowered it onto two planks of wood with castors on them that I'd made for moving furniture at home on my own. You can get these at Bunnings already made too. One under each end, then just rolled it out.

  10. well, PM @JETURBO to see if he can do the tune for you, instead. Wouldn't trust somebody who says your stock injectors can get anywhere near 300rwkw

  11. stock it doesn't work at all unless you fluke a line up of rev matching between the two gears you're switching between... probably a lot of grinding of gears or synchro's... but like double-r said, you get a spark cut quick shifter and it'll cut the spark when you go through the gates via a switch installed in there and it'll allow you to just shift without grinding due to the lack of load (basically how the V8 supercars do it).
