  1. I've been wondering all along, if they can just put Trump in a corner with a few nice looking ladies and tell him you stay there and let the adults run the country.

  2. Car looks much nicer and its newer too, a proper BF2. It’s obviously had the car yard spruce up, but having a look at that bay shows it hasn’t been molested, all inlet plumbing hose clamps match for example. I’d look at getting all the service history you can get, plus have an independent inspection done. The latter will cost you a couple hundred but will come with many photos and proper report that you can then use to either negotiate a deal or peace of mind. Again, it’s a “base” with no options and its black. Look killer when clean, but will only stay clean for minutes. Also be sure to inspect the car whilst the sun is low in the sky to get a true idea of the body and paint, dark colours look great in shade or when the sky is high, but side on at dusk will give you a good look at any repairs or true state of the paint work. Getting such a car thru rego here in SA should be fine, especially if its stock and in good nick. Anything under 10K purchase price would be reasonable IMO

  3. Got a phone call this evening saying that the owner of the rental I applied for on Friday approved my application [emoji16] so stoked, means I can just organise movers to move all my stuff first day back next break and then clean the old place and be done with it! Sure it's $280 a week more than I've currently been paying in rent by living with housemates...but I think the difference between my old place and the new one, plus not having to put up with other people's crap justifies the extra money each week for the standard of living. I'm excited to be living in a house again that I'm proud to invite people over to and not feel ashamed of it or anything. And a house I'll enjoy walking into and feeling like I've come home and that it's my space and not some poor couple‘s space who have horrendous taste in everything...

  5. Agree completely. "Twist of the wrist" series of books, are my favorite books and transitions to car's very well. Preparation is key though. I have 20 years of circuit experience too remember, and have competed and won 5 motorbike races in the mid 90's. I do not believe increasing my corner speed will dramatically reduce my lap times at a track like Wakefield. I'm at the limit there. I have 7 years of data for that track. Hundreds of laps. Tried everything. Plenty of room for improvement at SMP and Winton though. I have a large cooler at removed foglight. Thermo fan sucking air through. Big finned sump. ZF temps are now controlled.

  12. How I check coils is to take the rubber boot off & look in where the coil spring goes , if you see grey / white dust (even the slightest bit ) in the hole then you KNOW the coil is RS . They hate water so if you see corrosion in the plug hole & on coil boot give them a new home in the bin (if you have to wash motor & don't want to remove cover to get water out then just buy new coils the next day ) The coils in this reguard are fragile & don't expect them to last the life of the vehicle. Only buy genuine ford ,they are the best quality you can get - buy cheap aftermarket & expect to change them soon. You can buy them cheaper on fleabay.

  13. I fitted some new diff bushes today. I swapped out the diff oil while I was at it. The diff bush tool worked beautifully. Although I managed it in decent time I gotta say that doing it in the driveway kinda sucks. I took it for a test drive and it feels heaps better. Now to smash some beers.

  16. Thanks Damo. Seriously. If anyone was surprised clearly you haven't seen how retarded the majority of the population is over there. Plus voting isn't mandatory. If it was maybe he wouldn't have made it. But seriously would you want that bitch in either?

  21. apparently ER is error right side, EL is left, and EE is both. EA however, I imagine might be an issue with the setup or even the controller itself. Got the car going in to get some work checked, so will have him look over the suspension at the same time. Cheers all!

  22. I know what you mean mate, 6boost used to do them like that back in the day. I may go that way but also looking for simplest solution fab wise! I planned to angle mine is it's basically inline with the entry angle from the inner two primaries on each side (does that makes sense??) You'll also be happy to know this has happened- and it's not going back on.

  24. I'm facing a similar dilemma at the moment in making a single gate function on a spilt pulse manifold.- Runners are completely divorced at the collector ie- My plan is to add a separator plate between the runners (and extend into the elbow) and use a 50mm stand off (will be using my 45mm hypergate) Angle will be similar this with the end angle cut to A: position the gate correctly B: Have max area available for the gas flow

  25. oh.. I'll fix that... not sure what happened there... unexpected side effects

  26. I have a single 50mm off the merge collector (average angle too) and don't have any issues controlling boost. Good to see Garrett finally have a new turbine on a GT35 frame. Still no EFR though!!

  27. Make sure when they do the gate on your manifold if its a t4 split pulse that they do two 40mm bends off each side of the collector into a merge into the gate other wise if they do it like Kyle from 6boost does with a single 50mm bend cut into the middle divider in the merge it WILL have boost control problems.

  28. All GTX gen 2's come in supercore to suit factory rear housings except T4 obviously and the new GTX3584RS 1000hp rated but I'm hoping to confirm it "might" be a supercore option at a lesser hp rating

  32. If you can't afford the 5000 to 7500km oil change intervals you should not have bought a "performance" car. It's so cheap compared to engine work, I do mine at 7,500 even though that comes around about every ten to fifteen weeks for me. I only run 98. Also worth considering: if a manufacturer can extend recommended oil change intervals it makes their car look cheaper to run - lower total cost of ownership. Things like that turn up in car comparison articles or adverts. If they can design an engine that will live happily through the warranty period with 20,000km oil changes, I imagine they love to spec that in the owner's manual! I doubt you would ever find that sort of interval in a performance car handbook.

  33. the recommended time for a leak test is a couple of hours. So just mucking around with the red led's and checking out my new red cables. I'll buy some red engine coolant and add this tomorrow for color. Then finally I'll have my PC back and into some gaming
