I have been very busy of late, so not much has changed. I'm waiting on Strecchlon (Vacuum form plastic) to arrive, so that I can skin some carbon onto the dash spears and console parts. Here is a pic of a spear that has been prepped for skinning. I have made the mould for the DJR320 front splitter, so it will be made soon. I managed to find some time yesterday to fit the BF tail lights and the new rear bar. I apologise for the quality of the pic.

To sum up the cruise, an excel managed to catch us on the hills run. Lead car was Kyle's ute, ergo an excel is faster than Kyle's ute. Bwahahahaha PS good cruise

A six pack and a few bottles of wine in with the mrs watching a 80's compilation on youtube streaming through the new home theatre - epic! wmmfgt, got the second all clear in a two years for my wife's brain tumours, two removed over 16 years, looks like we are in the clear AT LAST!!! Cheers Rab, it really is great news for us, we've lived with the spectre of this sh*t over our heads for too long. My awesome lady hasnt been able ( physically destroyed by fatigue ) to work for the last 6 years since the last tumour opp and is back at work 2 days now - such a boost to her self confidence. It helped me realise there is no plan to a good life, its just what you make of it. While we may not retire zillionares , with luck we will BOTH live long enough to retire and relax a little.

I had to play with half a dozen to find one that didn't either kill mobile service or Wi-Fi. I wound up with one shy of the latest but used the latest stock Telstra baseband. Battery life,which was my biggest issue with stock 5.1.1 and that's improved dramatically.

Finally had a gutfull of touchwiz and the rest of the bloat Samsung decidedly lump in. Went to a fresh CM12 and omfglolcats so look much better. It now feels likes my N5 just bigger

Cars that have badly aimed headlights. Drove in front of a taxi tonight that looked like he had high beam on. You know it's bad when you can see your head silhouetted against the sun visor. I dropped back and flashed him from behind but either he has the worst bulbs and aiming in history or he likes to drive with high beams on, because he acted like it was normal. "Very frustration"

Excellent job, might need to take mine to your guy but you're over in WA yeah (NOPE - edit-in-post because that's a thing now)? Not travelling across the continent though. Plus I need a full respray first so not really wise. But again, full marks, they've done a fantastic job. I think Ol' Ralphy was inferring that a chamois is technically not best for wiping down a fresh-washed car. I believe microfibre towels are the in thing.

I hate repeat HATE braided hose. I've built (literally) thousands of hoses over the years and getting stabbed by an exposed piece of braid is the devil. But I'm yet to find a rubber liner cloth/nylon hose that stands up over time. Current fuels system is a mix of Speed Flow and Aeroflow 400sr hose and it's all cracked and brittle after two years on E85. Once I park the F6 up for the winter I'll be replacing it all with Speedflow 100 series.
