  1. Been a week since mum had her surgery and she's doing EXTREMELY well! Up and about, taking the dog for walks and even cooked Chrissy dinner! She's talking pretty well too, a little funny given she's missing the side of her tongue but all things considered we're stoked with how quickly she's recovering. Now we've just gotta wait until her follow-up appointment on 6th Jan for the biopsy results. My folks also seem very approving of the gf too, which is nice [emoji4]

  4. All good mate enjoy it all, glad its all gone to a good home don't worry it's hard to sell everything considering how much I spent on it all but with it all gone less temptation to buy another turbo 6 and mod it. Cheers

  8. I'm not overly concerned with heat but I just thought it would be a good idea to try and reduce it and if I'm going to do the dump I might aswell do everything. Considering I'm in far North Queensland it's probably a good idea I reduce the heat as much as possible, we have enough up here as it is. Will start calling around after new year when places start opening back to see what they can offer. If I do end up getting everything done I might make it into a like experiment type thing. Get the engine bay temp, intake temp and those sort of thing before and after see what difference it makes. Will even talk to the tuner and run it up on the dyno before and after its done. Would be interesting to see what difference it makes, if any at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. As an ex drift kent I never used bolt on spacers but I just preferred to take the safer option considering what I was doing in the car. I know a heap of people who swear they are fine. You also have to remember that most of those guys have 1200ish kilo cars vs our 1800ish kilos, which I imagine would make a difference.

  12. Peter, Just ebay 114.5 wheel spacers that's what I did they are from Just Jap Imports. Im only running them on the rear, no need to on the front. Cause the guards have been pumped on the rear, Ive got FG ute size gaps. These are the bolt on ones, each to their own on spacers. Would never use slip on ones, but we use bolt up one on mining trucks and they work.

  15. Great news Stripes! Booked a hire car for the remaining days here in Tassie. $50 cheaper to get sv6/xr6 than a Yaris. I'm not asking questions.

  18. Get one of these put it on the chassis rail beside A/c compressor no different to the early process west stg3 cooler kit where you had to drill a hole in the inner guard for cold side piping where washer bottle had to be removed. That is my cooler setup off my F6 mate.

  21. Just been to visit my 85 y/o uncle dad on his deathbed, he may make christmas day, may not. Nurses are saying hours not days. Early stage dementia & prostate cancer , diagnosed 5 years ago but still epicly sh1tty to see him unconcious between awakening just in time for some hallucinations . I was lucky enough to have been raised by my aunty and uncle from very young, god only knows where id be if they hadn't of stepped up and taken me in. I count him as a dad, I get on really well with him and my birth father, but this stills feels like watching a parent die. Its said the first 5 years heavily influence who you become in later life, I owe him so much. Enjoy your family this christmas people, you never know how many you have left with them.

  25. It's the dyno. It's at least 30kw low on most others. A stock GS rolled out 230rwkw on it. It belongs to user "Kartman" iirc too.
