  12. After many months browsing forums, speaking to forum members and tuners I got the ball rolling! I decided Nizpro was the place for my car. 98 Tune - 339rwkw E85 Tune - 380rwkw Mods I installed: - Process west stepped cooler kit - Plazmaman turbo side intake - Plazmaman battery relocation kit - Venom 5" cat pipe - ID1000 Nizpro provided: - Surge tank & 044pump - Valve springs - Blocked BOV - tune Extremely happy with the results. Completely different car. I know if I had a full exhaust my car wouldn't have to work as hard but the most important thing to me is noise levels as I have a little bubs. Highly recommend Nizpro!

  13. Hi Guys, Thought I would post up some pics of my G6E that I detailed over the weekend. The Car is my wife's Daily amd had copped a bit of abuse with all the rain we have had and we live at The Oaks ( near Camden) and with our roads the car was getting a bit neglected. I washed, Clayed, machine Polished and waxed it over 2 days. Used Mothers Clay kit, Menzerna Polishe's x 3 and Dodo Juice Supernatural Wax ( this stuff is amazing ) Here are the pics, first pics are before car was hand waxed, last photo is after hand wax but was dark and pics are taken on a sh*tty IPhone. Cheers Coop. After the wax. ( crappy pic due to the light )

  14. I emailed your tuner and will await a reply. I can only offer suggestions. As someone said before it is up to the tuner to sort out. If he cant ask him to put the stock injectors and tune back in, refund your money and take it to someone else. As Ratter said, my first check would be whether he tuned from the original tune strategy or loaded a different strategy tune that still ran the car. 0.6 gap does not help idle either , try .8 to .9mm.

  19. there is normally multiple tune strategy's for what appear similar cars, it is wise to always build a tune on the correct strategy. Your plug gap is too small

  23. My official title is "Project Geologist" working at an underground gold mine. I'm kinda a first level supervisor so I'm pretty much office based rather than underground and at the core yard these days. I do a lot of 3D interpretation and wireframing and playing with data in spreadsheets and the like.

  32. Yes those tunes are "proven" To significantly increase the chances of your engine going bang. You have been burnt once already. Where are you from? This will help everyone recommend a good workshop in your area.

  33. I did previously have a modded XR6T, you have probably seen the videos of it being flogged buy the guy who bought it, it's the toxic one with the turbo that sounds like a blower doing some pretty full on skids. What it taught me is that things should be done right the 1st time. I wasted about 10k replacing things because I wasn't happy with them. I've decided to do it right the 1st time & play it safe and go with a Process west stage 3 kit, 4 inch turbo back exhaust, surge tank, CAI, injectors, flapper valve & port, and tune from CPV in mackay. I have heard about a 'spark booster' that goes in the kick panel, so will look at one of them too, and probably a ZF tune... BUT all these will have to wait, as I'm not in any hurry, and am just looking forward to owning my dream car.

  34. Some peoples hold up fine, other ones burst later on from my research. Either way the material they are made of is thin and poor quality not something you'd expect out of a high performance car, so a good idea is to get a pipe kit and replace it. I'd say if your running anything more than factory boost, replace them.

  35. Ill save ya the research mate as iv read it all on here and am doing the same to mine very shortly.. Harrop TruTrac is the business.. The Harrop is the better of that and the cheaper alternative the Eaton .. Kaaz I can comment on sorry.. My diff guy said an LSD gives approx 30% bite and will eventually clap out as opposed to a TruTracs 70%.. Expect about $1200 for the unit and as advised having it done now while the cradle is out will save ya a LOT of labour costs if / when u decide to do it in the future.. Bushes most guys use are the SuperPro Comfort series..Get the 2 side bushes while your at it in the same kit for about $220.. replacing with factorys will only have the same problem not far down the track.. best of luck :D

  36. God damn, what an arvo. Set about pulling the old gauges out and putting new ones in. AFR, boost and OIL pressure. First the old oil sender had to come out, so did the icc. Then the wiring, the old vac lines and the power source. new vac line went in, with the oil pressure sender and wiring, then gauge wiring. Ended up doing about 20 soldering joints with the wide band. Heat shrinked and tidied everything up all while painting one of my calipers. Wasn't easy doing it all by myself! Took a good 5 hours... Only have one sh*tty photo cause it's dark Gunna chuck a dags cause not enough female action for me lately

  37. Yep, have a small intercooler. This will not work with most large intercoolers. For BA BF look at the PWR one. I copied theirs and did my own with fan and thermostat.

  38. I love the look of these things. I dont car what anyone says ford or Expensive Daewoo loving, you can beat them for money input to power output. And they can still be driven every day by you or a girlfriend, wife, mum, nan whatever! if your worried about warranty dont do mods. If you have a limited amount of cash, do handling and braking. handling with coilovers branking with new rotors/pads or brembo upgrade Then save about 10k and like the boys said shoot straight for 350-400rwkw. Poor man pays twice

  39. My ZF started to go at 400rwkw. Got it built and never have to worry about it again I'd be more worried about the tail shaft letting go.
