  2. Without an overlay you will only be speculating, dyno figures cannot be compared unles it's same dyno same day. MPH is a better indication of power, so far, apart from Glouva, are there any GTX's that have gone over 140MPH?

  3. About 3 weeks ago I drove from Brisbane to perth and averaged 7.9 litres per 100kms.. Car had 301rwkw.. 2 days after arriving in perth I was able to run a 11.96 pass :-) happy days for me..

  4. I don't understand why everyone gets their nickers in a knot about the extra police presence, especially around public holidays. Don't give the police a reason to pull you over and they wont bother you I for one am happy with the extra fuzz presence, especially since the to the amount of mindless individuals on the roads these days seem to grow on a daily basis.

  6. from a fellow ProFile autosports customer FG XR6T Ute - ZF, normal bolt on's/exhaust/valve springs/balancer and new Precision Turbo 'So decided to do another upgrade on the ute. Pump fuel tune on 20psi made 400.5rwkw. Did 3 runs on the dyno on E85. On 20psi 431rwkw 22psi 460rwkw and I tried 24psi just to see and it went 483rwkw or 648rwhp seeing just over 900nm of torque at one point. Going to need that to push this 1940kg tank lol 460 tune in it atm. Plenty for now. Thanks to Clinton Hocking from profile Autosports for his quality work'

  7. I recently bought this 2011 G6E TURBO. It's white with black leather interior and 78,000kms. Previously I've owned: 1994 Toyota Lexcen (VR) 1994 Nissan Skyline GTS25t 5sp 1996 Nissan Skyline GTS25t 5sp 1989 Expensive Daewoo VN Late model camira 5L 304ci 1993 Nissan 180SX SR20DET 5sp 1989 Expensive Daewoo VN Late model camira 3.8L 2000 VX Clubsport R8 5.7L A4 (now M6) 1997 Nissan S14 S2 SR20DET 5sp 2002 WH2 Expensive Daewoo Statesman 5.7L A4 I still own the VX Clubsport R8 which will be my weekend/fun car. So far I'm loving the G6E Turbo, especially the ZF auto and how easy and smooth the car is to drive. I don't have any big plans for it other than maybe some 19" wheels and a tune. I'd like to keep the car as quiet and comfortable as possible for a change. Since buying the car I've clayed, polished and applied a synthetic sealant (Duragloss 2 stage). I also plan on painting the silver painted parts of the grille and foglight surround black and will also remove the towbar when I get a chance. I've also thought about getting the chrome window surrounds done in piano black but unsure yet.

  12. Does 900nm seem bit low for 483rwkw? 24psi also seems like a lot.. with the gtx I'm only running 16.5psi for 457

  19. My mate had a mechanic friend (just out of apprenticeship) who offered to build his performance engine. My help was asked for when this "mechanic" couldn't work out why the engine would not turn when he bolted it all up. Now lets start. Crank wouldn't turn cause the big end caps were put the wrong way around Upon disassembly the pistons were on the wrong way around on the rods The top and bottom ring clearances were the wrong way around . Just food for thought.

  23. Yeah for future reference, Achilles ATR Sport 2 tyres currently don't come in the correct size for the 17" wheels on a FG XR6T ute (18" and higher are fine I think). The correct size is 245/45R17. I didn't find this out until after the tyre shop fitted the older 1st gen ATR Sports on my car instead, assuming that I didn't care about the difference. I'm still not sure if I want to get the ATR2 fitted with the smaller 235/45 profile, the diameter is only 9mm smaller than standard and I have actually been running 235/45R17 since owning the car anyway. I went back to tyre shop today, argued with the owner about the legality of fitting them (proved him wrong in front of customers). In the end I can take the car back and get the ATR2s fitted if I want to (they're also $80 cheaper for a set)

  25. I have some stock xr6 17"s you can borrow for a few weeks mate. Tyres aren't great but they aren't bald. Owe you one from when you took me hunting for the turbo fitting!!!

Mcmatty ....John at precision Turbos set it up for me, paid $1200ish.. that obviously included the wheel and housing machining,port and flapper mod,11.8 actuator and also Heat coating of my exhaust housing,dump pipe and exhaust manifold.. 390ish.. topped 132mph on 98.. But in saying that I am running cams..

  28. The 6235 on marks car made 417rwkw @ 18psi on 98 and 487 rwkw @ 19psi on e85. If anyone wants to buy my gtx off me I can do an overlay of both.. lol
