  1. Hey guys I got a fg with 68,000 Got it tune last week end up push 565kw on 23psi on E85 On stock bottom end !! Running 6 boost manifold Gtx42 turbo Custom cold air Turbosmart wastegate & bov ID2000s injector Custom surge tank with twin 044s Plazmanan pro series intercooer and pipe work Custom made 4 inch exhaust from turbo back Eboost street 2 Valve springs Big Direct clutch And problem few more things I have forgot All the work was done at TOP RPM PEFORMANCE did a good job so happy with it Running two tune low 447kw on 15 psi and hi 565 on 23 psi ..

  2. You wouldn't read about it. after writing here on Wednesday about looking for an FG turbo for 4 months. One came up on carsales on friday here in ACT. 2010, 48,000km, one owner, mystic paint, dvd players in headrests, colour icc, premium sound, leather, full size alloy spare, and most importantly, absolutely immaculate. Rang on friday night and had a deposit down by 930 on saturday. I'm stoked, all the waiting paid off

  10. the small turbo will not hold high boost in the upper rpm's no matter what actuator is fitted, but the stronger actuator will bring it on harder., if you have a good exhaust and cooler, you will need the port job to stop overboost

  12. 320 out of the little turbo was neck and neck with my 330 out of my ba from take off but on roll on the fg nailed me by car lengths everytime Power figures aside afaik small turbo has gone 127mph on e85

  13. Mr Turbo is local and we did discuss an option of billet wheel etc. Would've been interesting to see how it went but it was getting up near GTX money. Would've maybe squeezed 350 out of that with minimal loss of bottom end, but you're pushing hard again. Have heard of a few small turbo's FG being killed once maxed hence would rather go up one and not work it as hard.

  14. I use one of those, bought it used off the forum here and made sure to get the pen colour indicators black for stealth. Have had it a long time though and it's starting to chip with all the words I write. Look I do 500+ pages a week for work (it's my daily and weekend writer) and the only things that let me down until recently were bearings - but that is probably my own fault for writing at an acute diagonal angle while my paper was over rough gravel surfaces. Happened on an "enthusiast" writing get together with some others from here though so look you tend to get excited. Have been through dozens of pen license checks and never had them mention it so fingers crossed! Would suck to have to return to a stock pencil. Oh mine is ex cop too so look you know they "broke it in well" hahaha. Made over 20.8wpm when stock which was second highest my tuner had seen.

  18. I call bullsh*t. Who changes the ink in a disposable pen? Would cost more for a refill than an entire new pen. Any pics of the empty ink cartridge?

  21. no intention of turning this into a truck driver bashing thread but had an incident with one a few weeks back. apparently 'do not overtake, turning vehicle' means you can not overtake a truck on a 3 lane wide rd mid corner. some colourful language was exchanged that night!

  23. ok im still awaiting proper fitment on these bloody 22's? I have spoken to a few wheel places and all keep telling me that it will fit (with mods) but cant go any wider then 22x10,still cant provide me with a perfect offset fitment? and what about the fronts? OHH here is a pic..lol vvvvv

  29. I'm port and polishing my pen next week. Should see an easy 15.735 wpm increase. I'm also painting it black the week after for better heat transfer.

  30. Few additions Wiring loom is back, I wont connect all this up until engine components are painted and back on, Fuel rail with -6 to -8 attachments twin feed with single return. Ive also modded the turbine housing to clear the strut tower. a 2.5' tight radius aluminium 90 deg bend made it no worries

  33. did you torque the end cap to spec? what is the spec? Home many run in letters/digits are required before you can go for full WPM? Also, I have a black pen now but I want a blue one? can I fit a blue ink to my black pen? Also does anybody know if I can fit a black ink to my HB pencil? because I don't have my pen license but want to use a pen?

  34. When you do the oil change of a car you need a couple of cranks for the new oil to go through the engine. This happens with pens too. Maybe henz was right. After a retune.

  35. I call bs it appears to be the same ink, need before sample writing to confirm actual change. Also I changed the air in my interior today was going to grab a pic but its hard to drive with the windows down and get pic at the same time.

Well after the third round of powerplay chopping the car developed a miss under boost which progressivly got worse to the point it would backfire at anything above 15psi, sounded like a machine gun thru the screamer pipe! As I suspected coils had given up. This avo fitted some NGK laser platinum pfr7b .7 gap plugs and new genuine ford coils and shes back and lovin it! Ready for the rdp dyno day

He made 573.9rwhp on a dyno run by people who had no idea how to use it, ramping up the car nearly flew off the dyno cos the straps were hardly held on, 50-100mm of slack easy, it was very close, they had people walk out of the crowd to show them how to do it, I was very disappointed, hopefully later on during the day they sorted that out. but in saying that marks car made a few very good runs, he had a few people amazed, a guy standing next to me was saying it was standard and my gosh the look on his face when it came on boost... Some people need to learn a bit of respect. A car is a car and if you love cars like I do well I hope a few of us out there cut the bs and help out a bit more.. There's no place for jealous fu*ks out there in the moded car game so come on guys lets help out and get our fords out there and bash some boost
