Its not a nizpro tune problem, just a freezing cold night problem. Like possum said most of them start after a few goes most of the time. I don't trust everyone that says its all perfect And starts first go because I'm sure a few people have rose colored glasses on.2 points

Not the first time I have tuned an ECU Im more comfortable tuning with a Wolf or a Haltech but as most tuners know these are an entirely different story especially trying to figure out exactly what tables do what. So far going well, sorted the idle out and she purs like a kitten even on cold start and sits at 900rpm in drive and idle, in fact you can’t really tell it has cams sometimes. The ECU is now doing what I tell it to do and not what it wants or thinks it should be doing. Al ot of trial and error, a lot of data logging and a lot of use less tables now have zeros in them.. Just about finished with the Speed density as well. She only has 60LBs Dekas in her at the moment and that's because I have tuned with these before and know how to get them right so eliminating the injectors or fuel causing any issues while I tune the cams and idle. Im not trying to make any power as yet. I’ll be putting in the IDs well the Bosch injectors in this weekend and I hope and scaling them as well if I get time. I also have to get boost under control as well the 60mm TIAL with a 1bar spring doesn’t open until 25PSI. When it opens even at 150KMH it just wheel spins! Ill try putting in a 6PSI spring and playing around with that. Im in no rush as my new auto is still at Protrans. It should of been here by now but they gave my auto to some else who was tuning a XR6T a few weeks back so are building me a new one. Once the auto arrives and I fit it ill start playing around with the MAP sensor. It’s only a matter of time before I figure it out.. I still have a few things I need to tidy up like get the comp cover polished, fit polished thermostat housing, fit a catch can, fabricating an airbox, tidy up the oil feed line and detail the engine bay. A few pics below of the build. Once Injectors go in and auto is fitted it’s straight on to Liberty E85 for the street tune and Martini E85 for race tune. Who know I may even strap a GTX47 on her before the year is over, the only issue I see there is trying to justify to her why we need a GTX47. Women they just don’t understand! The engine before it went in Plazamaman 1800HP cooler with 3.5" Cold side pipes Exhaust Manifold Exhaust Manifold Exhaust Manifold Engine fitted to car Another pic1 point

Totally aware that a single can make that amount of power.. But if you could have 2 smaller ladies.. Or 1 big lady.. What would you choose?1 point

I'd worry less and just drive one. You have plenty of options to fix any lag issues you may feel1 point

Okay, phase two of this write up. Each photo will be followed by the text that describes it. This is the gear surround. Lift up on the back side of it. This part should come up fairly easily. The closest part (towards the cup holder) will be the most difficult and may require a bit more oomf to pop the snap clips. Once the surround is pulled up, you will be able to pull the trim screws located on either side. This is the right one. This is the left trim screw. Once both screws are removed, you can pull the left and right trims out and sent them aside along with the screws (I use the flat bit in front of the instrument cluster). This screw is located at the top of the ICC and will be visible once the top panel is removed (see the first post of this thread). There are 4 bolts holding the ICC in (along with the top screw mentioned above). These are the left two. These are the right two bolts. Pull these and the left two and keep them somewhere safe. There are two screws holding in the tissue holder. One on the left and one on the right. This is the screw on the left side of the tissue holder. This is the screw on the right side of the tissue holder. 12v power for the accessory plug. Here we see the ICC plugs as well as the antenna plug. Remove the plugs left to right. I mounted my boost sender on the left side of the ICC chassis as seen in the above two photos. Dimmer control was pulled from the fog light switch (or fog light/tc switch on the XR6s) which is on the brown wire. I pulled power from the accessory plug. I suggest labeling things once they're installed otherwise you'll probably be hard pressed to figure out what is what afterwards if you ever need to work on it. Note the two holes where the pod sits just above the rectangle holes. Left hole drilled. Right hole drilled. Routing power from the 12v accessory to the gauges and also to the boost sender. Always keep things neat and tidy. All back in one piece. BTW, don't use those stinky Christmas trees and hang them from the vents as they can damage (strip the paint) on the ICC facia as seen above.1 point
