  3. At the moment I run the Plazmaman 3" Turbo side Intake and Battery relocation that puts a drycell in the stock spot to make room. to be honest im not really happy with it at all. Soon I'll be putting the battery behind the bar and doing a proper 4" Intake with a decent sized filter.

  4. Said it a million times. The tutututu noise is when all the compressed air passes back through the turbo and out the intake after throttle body closes. A bov, in correct position, prevents this from happening. To a point.

  7. hi guys I am about to buy a xr6 turbo prob a Ba mark 2, am selling my much beloved 80series landcruiser to fund it, I am new to fords as past cars have been holdens,but after years of hassels with the commonbores I am crossing over to ford, I love the look and feel of the BA/BF and am really looking forward to owning one,cant wait infact, I said I would only sell my 80series for an xr8 but after looking at and driving a turbo I want the xr6t,they rock cheers I like forems like this for cars they really help,all your posts are a great source of info and its cool to see so many ppl enthusiastic about this modle ford:) cheers Alex

  9. You can get a thud in the diff when coasting and plant your foot or if you are taking off from standing still and put your foot down it may thud as well. Here is a good video of it http://vimeo.com/5447798

  11. I'm no expert but if I was you I would go for under battery intake, intercooler, throttle body relocation kit, better cat and a tune if I was you. That should give a bit of noise, better torque and response, reasonable economy and reliability if the tune is done right (custom) If you can afford an FG I would say go for it. No point spending good money on a car you might sell soonish. Chances are you won't get any of it back on re-sale and the FG will be safer to mod. Just my 2c
