Ok guys, sorry if this has allready been covered but I just wanted to know how much power will standard exhaust take as I was tossing up between getting a turbo back exhaust or an intercooler kit. I was just worried that with say a full exhaust the monza wouldnt cope with the new power levels and/or with an intercooler kit the exhaust wouldnt cope if that makes sense.

P.S I also have a 5" ballistic cat installed.

Thanks Leo

A good quality dump and cat with a standard exhaust on a BF will run 290 - 300. Beyond that - volume and flow are king, and you'll need to do the rest with something greater than the twin 2 and a quarter restriction. Refer to the pinned information in the exhaust section.

This was a key issue from late 2003 with the BA.

Better to upgrade the Intercooler first , as it is the bigger power restricter.

If you are after a cost effective solution do the Intercooler upgrade and get a free flowing cat, with appropriate tune.

I've seen a full stock BA exhaust produce 280RWKW. Surely a good dump and decent cat with the centre muffler removed should see you through to mid 300s?

Sorry guys well I allready have the hi flowing cat installed as well as removing the rear muffler, so with the intercooler kit my exhaust should still flow pretty well??
