  1. My 6466 definitely has 7 curved blades. I was told it was a gen 2 compressor wheel, its different to the 6235 and the 6766. Call Joe at rotor master he is 1 of 3 authorised dealers in Australia, he would be the best person to talk to he definitely told me it was the gen 2 7 blade curved wheel. I don't know about the whole gen 2 thing but it has their new style of compressor wheel.
  2. To be honest not really chasing 500kw. I built the motor for peace of mind cause I blew my motor. The car should make 500 pretty easy with the right fuel and injector set up. I've only have I stage 1 cms zf which is only really good for around 400rwkw maybe 420rwkw. I'll build a new box soon but until I do I'll be happy with around 440rwkw I drive the car to work daily.
  3. sell your turbo and buy 6466 you won't regret it I have very similar bolt on mods to you except I'm low mount and internal gated no spike issues as long as you don't want to run under 16lb it comes on hard and spools at around 2000rpm
  4. I have a low mount 6466 on my car. You have to modify your dump a little and cap off your water lines not a big deal at all. It starts spooling around 2000rpm. Don't waste your money on a 6 boost gate turbo and plumbing- you won't get to much change from $5000. Buy the bolt on 6466 from rotor master, use the internal gate and the 1.07 rear housing, $2699. I'm running in my car at the moment so once it's run in ad had a power tune I'll give you an update.
  5. I started with an atomic 698kw short motor, ported and polished the head, standard BF cams, heavy duty timing chain tensioner and guides, heavy duty valve springs with titanium retainers, ARP head studs, Plazmaman Plenum, Plazmaman race air box and dry cell battery, Plazmaman 1000hp pro series intercooler kit, precision 6466, x-force exhaust, atomic girdle, Aeromotive in-tank pump, stage 1 CMS ZF transmission, currently running 60ib injectors. Going to change to either ID1000 or KPM 1000. Haven't done the fuel system yet and I'm still undecided which way to go (either twin in tank pumps from KPM or twin external pumps with surge tank). If anyone has any advice I'm all ears.
  6. I picked my car up today sound good runs good very happy its been over 6 weeks since I've driven it now its the slow process of running it in I just wanna mash the throttle joe wants me to put 3000km before we power tune it just to be sure she's run in good its going to be torture new turbo and I can't even spool it up but at 2000rpm you hear it start to whistle sounds good down low I can't wait to get stuck into it
  7. yeah cms does all the work on my car I wouldn't go to anyone else I would highly recommend them to anyone
  8. Rocker cover from Just Dip it Hydrographics in Merrylands, check him out on Facebook.
  9. motors in 6466 is" bolted" on water lines and dump pipe needed modifying but other than that all good
  10. I just bought a bolt 0n precision 6466 for my bf xr6 mk1 has anyone used one of these turbo's before? My options were gtx35/82r or precision 6466 both were around the same price but at the last minute I went with the precision
