Hey guys

Just need some advice, I have a b series xr6 turbo with hi flow cat, removed rear muffler, aps intake box, ive been offered a sct flash tuner with a 10 psi tune, can this be fitted and installed to my car, with out a tune till tax time? Quick easy budget power was wondering of does the car have to be dead stock for the sct to work.. any help would be great cheers

you can do that, but you risk blowing your motor and/or other driveline components... seriously, generic tunes are not worth the 1's and 0's that make them up...

make sure to get your car tuned on a dyno. The flash tuner box itself will facilitate this tune at a reputable tuner. Don't flash any tunes on without being on a dyno ready to be tuned.

how ya going? make sure the flash tuner is not married to any car otherwise you'll have to send it off to someone that fixes it (guy in australia somewhere does it for $150)

youll ideally need to take the car and the sct tuner to a tuner (check out whose recommended for your state) and then they'll work their magic n you can do some skidz

don't worry about ol keithy and his nerd talk, basically he means a tune that isn't customised for your car or at least checked on a dyno risks doing bad things to the engine .

as for driveline components, a good tune should wreck everything from the gearbox back to the tyres on the rear wheels. :3gears:
