Hey, Pretty new at this. I'm getting a brand new Turbo (fitted by Turbo Tech) with ceramic bearings for the 'Phoon tomorrow. Now I know the turbo is the same as the XR6 but they are set to different levels. My phoon should be 9.3 Psi. When turbo tech put the new turbo in will it be the same as the previous output at 9.3, or should I mention this to them? Thanks for any help

as long as it's the same spec, in terms of it's mechanical size and control surfaces (wastegate hole and flapper sizes) etc, then it'll produce the same boost as the electronic boost control that's the factory control system will limit it to the same boost that it had previously. It might get there faster with better bearings, but it's unlikely you'll really notice it.

Just confirm the specs with the people who provided the invoice.

It should be like this ->

A 1.06 A/R T3 flanged, internal gated (5 bolt), exhaust housing and a 0.5 A/R compressor housing.

Compressor wheel inducer diameter: 61.4mm

Compressor wheel exducer diameter: 82.0mm

Turbine wheel diameter: 68.0mm

because if you get the wrong actuator, who knows what settings it'll need in the tune to accommodate the boost it'll hold.
