Hello I own a 2007 bf ford fairmont ghia and I had a 2.5 inch sports exhaust with pacemaker extracters and a high flow cat and as youd expect the engine light cane on, my question is this will putting a o2 sensor off an xr6 or xr6 turbo solve this problem or will I have to just get a standard cat

Won't make a difference.

The issue is the rear sensor O2 sensor realising the cat isn't doing its job like the factory one.

I'd ring a tuner and ask them to switch off the rear sensor in the factory tune. If that is all they are doing, it shouldn't cost too much more than the software credits they need to licensed your VIN.

I reckon that will be cheaper than installing a factory cat and you get to keep your nicer exhaust.
