I disagree and here's why;

 

That is not how value is ascertained.

 

Value is the median price something would fetch based off a large number of them being sold within a short time frame.

 

Just because someone is willing to pay an amount for a thing, the thing doesn't assume that value.

 

It is just as erroneous to assume the value of a thing based on what the seller will accept. 

 

A bell curve can be extrapolated from the data of a large number of sales and the median is the value of a thing.

 

Outliers are inaccurate representations of value.

 

That's my 2 cents anyway.
