so so looking to upgrade my kpm 1000’s and not sure if I should go to the id1300x or id1700x’s anyone it’s experience and powe numbers that care to share? Don’t have the power to max out the bigger ones with my current turbo but who knows where I’ll be in 2 years time and don’t want to buy injectors again so that’s why I’m looking for others experiences.

Check this out mate. It's a bit old but basically you'll want the smaller injectors if you are sticking with 98 and the bigger injectors will be fine if you are sticking with e85.

I'd be going the 1700x's as I'm currently in the same predicament.

The X series are very different to the original id1000's that I have and have even better characteristics. There's almost no reason to go small (1000cc and below) any more as the side effects of the larger squirters are almost zero.

At least that way you're well covered for the future with little to no drawbacks.

If you are only going to run e85 or the like then the 1700cc injector will be ok. If you want to run 98 octane then you might end up with a rich or poor idle and cruise.

I just tagged na_turbo cos he is looking to get some injectors and I was trying to steer him toward the larger id range over the bosch "1000" injector. Ain't nobody got time for buying injectors twice!
