Hi all. My clock module cover from my BF Tornado broke. The plastic bits from the top cover holding the screws have broken off from all points. I've tried glueing it with no success . Help.. Any ideas to fix. I've rung just about every wrecker that I know of and they are all out or have not come across one.

Cheers

ouch... glue is going to be the only way to repair it, or bodge up a different mechanism out of wood etc if you're a bit on the crafty side.

There is an ebay seller called hit300gm that had a new one for sale a while back. It's a long shot but they might be able to help.

Contact vdo and see if they have any somewhere.

Would a motherboard standoff or similar set into steel putty work?

It looks like there is room on the plastic in the inside to create hooks to attach it with rubber bands.

Get creative, you'll work something out.

Google various ways to fix stuff like this.

If all else fails throw it in the bin and buy a watch! :)
