Hey guys,

long story short ive had cooling system issues leading to transmission issues havr had my radiator replaced, transmission replaced twice etc. but still having a few issues with temp. As today was about 38 degrees I noticed my temp was sitting abit higher than usual (almost on the half way point) and the car didn’t seem to be running like it usually does just wondering if this is normal or if there is still something wrong. And also if I have stopped to fuel up for example when I go to start the car again the temp is much higher then when it was running (abit further than half way) again is this normal or am I looking at more issues

I'll take the quick and easy part of the question to answer :)

It is completely normal for a cars temperature gauge to go up when you switch it off. When it is started and the water pump is spinning again, it'll come back down.

do the BA temp needles rise to the half way mark on the temp gauge normally?

The Fg have the temp need sitting one mark below the half way mark.

anyone else with a BA care to comment?

that's another thing I don't like about the FG. Had a BF before and it would sit on 1/4 all day every day then the silly FG sits on halfway. Whyforddothis?
