I got a 2008 fg xr6T and recently the performance modes not working. When I switch to perf mode, on the dash it stays on "D" instead of "PERFORMANCE" and the shifters dont work to change gears. Also when I turn my car off and open my door it beeps and says "TRANSMISSION NOT ON PARK". Is this a transmission issue? The car still drives and reverse fine though. I started to replace mine but couldnt get the locking pin out of the shaft.
