Iv recently had my tub off and fuel sender out and I rekon the easiest way is to just take the tub liner out and drill out the 6.spot welds. Lift up the floor panel n it's right there. No lying on the floor and no lifting the heavy tub

Must be the same guys who designed the honda odyssey.

I replaced a fuel pump recently and do you think there was a hole in the floor?

No, I had to drop the tank. Ironically there was a hole in the floor for the sender but not the pump. :rant2:

Whs, pulling the the liner out and drilling out a few spot welds is the easiest way if you don't have a hoist.

What they said

I cut the LH side of that floor panel off and ditched it, replaced with a staino sheet I drilled and screwed to the cross members, now have easy access.

Tub liner out in 5min (plenty practice). Thinking I should cut a rectangular hole in the liner and fit a low profile tool box over the top for ultimate access.

Drill the spot welds out then bend the sheet up and cut away. Or just drill out all the spot welds.

I fitted nutserts all around the tub frame under the sheet so its a quick job for next time.
