I was looking at Toyo Proxes and saw this thread. You mentioned it barely lasted 12000km. I've been reading some reviews saying it is reasonably well with wet and damp conditions and even exceptional in the dry. Would like to know what tires you chose as a replacement for it?

Need tyres again!

The r888r were awesome over summer - great straight line grip in warm dry conditions. Still found the dangerous in the wet unless I completely stay off boost which is very hard the way my car is setup.

Might try something a bit quieter this time - will try and price up the mps4s

So ended up with Michelin cup 2's 265-30-19.

Freakin amazing - as good, probably better grip than the R888R in the dry, and much much quieter.

Not sure how long they will last though.....
