Waste of money for a street car imo but nothing wrong with using the right tool for the job especially if you're not confident with tapping them shut.

What do they cost?

Just buy the correct pre gapped plugs

0.9 is the "correct" gap but 0.7 people are recommending which I've not seen on the shelf.

Anyway so far people have recommended:

Gap plugs

Flow test injectors (this is a last resort)

Anything else?

As everything is pretty new I'm feeling like it might be something more..

Fark knows. I saw a screw type plug gapper on ebay for over 200 usd.

Just tap them for now and you'll be fine.

0.9 is only correct for a stock car.

I had stock plugs blow out when I went over 12psi and 12:1 afr. I took them to 0.7 and it was sorted.

Maybe the misfiring cylinder has fouled the plug slightly?

Think back to the various things that are different with your car since it ran properly. One of those changes could be the culprit.

That's what threw me, I haven't touched the tune or components in almost ~8 months then it just started happening making me assume a coilpack failure. But after new plugs, coils no love, fixing the cover and ensuring the the ECU plugs were in correctly (it has been out before), replugging in all the injectors fixes the idle but introduces the on boost missfire.

I've smelt petrol for a while now (I need to look at this as well) but as it was already there its probably not related to the miss.

I'll try gapping the plugs first then work my way through the list.

Cheers for the help guys.
