someone could have spilt some when filling up.

 

 

have you tried wiping it all clean and dry (use a wet cloth/rag, water stops brake fluid eating ya paint if I recall right). then obviously come back and check again.

 

brake failure isn't cool, I had a nasty run with bad boosters in my old BA. I had it rebuilt and it bloody failed (again!) and I was heading towards a T junction at 80kmh with a rock hard brake pedal that suddenly started working as I was about to reef the handbrake on.

 

the second time I was in a carpark and some idiot walked infront of my car (as you do) and I almost ran the guy over but he was understanding when I said my brakes stopped working lol!

I don't think that's a spill man. 

I'd be sourcing a whole new unit. 

I priced one at ford for my old BF about 5 years ago. Pretty sure it was close to $1500 for the booster and master cylinder.
