Rab knows what it's about.

I done a track track day back at Oran park on my drz400sm. If you know bike you know this thing is slow. Started in group D and by lunch was mid pack of group C. Had a ball. Just trying to be fluid was the best part.

Yep - you're not racing anyone else - you're there for yourself.

My first one (on the bike) I came in for lunch ready for people to tell me how slow I was

Nup - no one cared - I told others how quick they went around me - shocked me when others told me how quick I went around them.

Clean, fun day and we all had pizza.

You can take my car and I'll take yours on the day if you think it's about anything other than that.

Pizza. Biggest mistake I made that day was not packing a good lunch and drinks. I got to about 3pm or so and on the last turn I nearly highsided it into the concrete wall. I packed it up after that. Absolutely flogged I was.

I'm not unaware of the other reasons for attending a track day...

Am trying to unravel the double negatives to work out the sentence...

You are aware of other reasons not to go?

Keith can turn, stop and go (have followed him through twisties)

Cost? (a valid reason)

Location (also valid)

Timing (is a Tuesday, so more than valid)

Weather (maybe, but who knows)

Instruction - bingo - that's the one :D

No way Keith is going to be told :P

still needs some money just to drive it... and lots of money to make the stock one worth driving on a track... none of which I have much of after spending so much on the Tassie cruise (including purchase of said stock car).
