Someone explain vacuum gauge

do you mean a boost gauge? 

 

are you trying to test the wastegate actuator?

 

for some reason, what you said makes me think of my vacuum carburettor balancer that you use on a motorbike to balance the carbys so it runs perfect.

cause as you can see they sit at 0 then when you are off boost the engine is making vacuum so it'll be in the negatives (or below zero as seen here). then when it goes above zero there is positive pressure (boooooost).

 

if not, maybe an oil pressure gauge?

Na engine with turbo mods and tuned it with Sct x4 rewired it himself windscreen front and rear have no seal around them lots of other small things when I bought it I knew the engine was stuffed but had no idea 4 holes through the block 2 each side 1 was big enough to fit tennis ball in
