I once did Esperance to Perth outskirts on one tank in a NA XR6 hire car - thats close to 800km. Couldn't believe the economy. I'm charging up my batteries (cameras, CB) whilst I look for stuff to pack. I paid $1.49 per litre for 98 RON yesterday at local 7Elevien (for Mobil). Sounds like Ballarat is the place to fill up the jerry can as well!
