hey guys

got a 2007 bf f6 , been tuned and so on blah blah

recently it has been running sh*t on idle ( 5 cylinders ) then come good after 5-10 seconds

just brought up cyl misfire , check it with a noid light and it drops power when plugged into the injector but when you just have the noid light in it keeps flashing with no drop out

iv changed ecu today , and its still doing the same thing , even swapped the no 6 injector and coilpack round and still does the same thing on cylinder no 6 on idle will drop power or earth when plugged in to the injector

anyone have any ideas or had same problem before I burn the thing to the ground haha

thanks

The wiring harness or even the injector plug must be suspect then so strip it back and check it out and then

Give the engine block a new clean earth from the battery and rince and repeat your testing procedure

Yeah I ended up running a new wire from ecu to injector and same thing but it did bring up this fault so im thinking maybe a coil pack wiring problem as I changed coilpacks and does the same and it causes it to cut signal to injector also as a safety maybe ?

Have you swopped the adapters around aswell as I've seen the adaptors bugger up from time to time

if you've changed everything around and run a new cables from the ecu direct to the injectors and swopped the ecu out and swopped the coils around id look at the coil harness and look at running some clean new grounds from the battery to chassis/block

Whether or not it has been solved or is this issue in this instance, I'll chuck in 2c worth of info.

Injector drivers in the pcm can fail.
