Sub is a kicker 10C84 8" Free air sub, 100w rms.

Oak 75 will run it nicely if you want to go that route

love to have gear like this, but it'd be wasted in my car. Just after something that sounds better than what I have in there.

I thought about keeping the two pioneer 12" subs and nakamichi amp, and adding a second amp for speakers, but I do need to be able to use my boot, hence the 8" in the shelf.

There are several off the shelf option for this that drop in and wont sacrifice boot space too much. Ill link you when im home on those

Would you recommend just doing the outer door skin? Or is there any benefit in doing the inner skin too? Ill doing the parcel shelf, where else would be a good place to deaden?

For what you want it wouldnt be 100% necesarry. Just a small area around the speaker in the doors will be fine and a little around the speakers on the parcel shelf.

Here are a few option that's a custom made to fit not just a sub box you throw in a boot. Both non intrusive.so you still have plenty of boot space. 2nd option comes in left and right side you have have 1 or 2 if you wanted
