It's seat change out

Good afternoon

 

Just a quick question for clarification

 

I have an 09 xr6t ute with cloth trim seats, the drivers seat is knackered and I am looking at buying some leather seats off the net to replace the seats with (probably off eBay).

 

I have found some nice looking seats out of a 2013 fg mk11 xr6 ute for a decent price.

 

My question is will the newer model seats be a straight swap for my 09 model seats.? Same bolt holes into the floor pan, same electrical connections an what not, my seats don't have side airbags either.

 

I think they should be a straight swap, but I just wanna be sure before I go and purchase these new seats.

long as they either both have side air bags or don't have them you'll be fine.

Cheers for the reply, yeah I'm 99% sure the ones I'll be throwing in don't have airbags, I have a ute and the new seats are out of a ute, the photos don't show srs airbag tags on the sides of the seats and they're pretty good photos so I'm confident she'll be right, should be here next week sometime, I might even do a tutorial of changing seats out for this forum ??

So I l've fitted the leather drivers seat, no drama's at all aye, 4 bolts, 3 plugs and happy days, hopefully get some pics of the passenger seat removal, I'll have a little time next weekend I hope ??
