So as the title suggests what turbos suit the manual setup better?

I've obviously got the billet wheeled 3540, Is it worth going over and making a gtx3576 or gtx3584? or even the 6235?

I just want the perfect street setup.

Probably gtx3576 or Pte6235 although your current turbo would be great too imo.

I've had both a gtx3582 and now 6466, when the 6466 pulls it pulls like a freight train whilst lighting the rears but that's doing 150kph+ and to me it's no good on the street because that's a 'see you later car/license' scenario when caught.

Other people will have their opinions but I only really enjoy my ute when it's at the track and I can stretch it's legs, 60 to 120kph spurts are alright but just the tip of the iceberg really and I'm not willing to throw my pride and joy away with the way laws and police/cameras get around these days.

I personally would go the 6235 but ive been partial to it for a while now. Seems like a good, possibly the best balance of response and top end for our cars to me. By all accounts it spools fast and has that freight train feeling at the top end

Thanks all

Yes the HTA has the horniest spool of them all. And I would consider it. But its hard when my current turbo is like a toyota camry. Its perfectly good but its just middle of the road in all aspects.

The reason why im really considering is I have two spare gt3576s comp+core sitting around waiting to be modded..

Obligitory not an fg and not a manual.

Imo it really comes down to preference and driving style.

I spend 90% of my driving at either 100 or 110kph because of where I live so it's mostly cruising aka no boost.

I could easily have a larger turbo in my situation and not be annoyed by lag.

I'm mostly out of grip under 100 now so more power is not always better.

Me too

Gtx3576 would snap on boost at 2k on the freeway

So does my turbo ish

But a gtx3584r would give me a far quicker time at the drag strip... GAHHHH

Choices.....
