Hi guys I have 2009 FG XR6T I have worked it a bit and currently have 300rwkw possibly will be upgrading a little more.

But I have standard brakes atm except for front rotors which are DBAs but not bigger or anything.

so its not surprising that I get brake fade and cook em fairly easily if I go do the twisties.

Therefore, I just wanted to know how should I go about upgrading them? Wanna fit them to standard wheels for now...and not crossdrilled but slotted. What size and brands should I go with and if u know any good mechanics or places for the same.

Please advise....Thanks ?

I'm running that rotor and pad combo up front but in the 355mm Brembo 4 piston size, do recommend.  Stops decent on street, lowish dust.

I had a chat to the boys at blue power about upgrading my brakes today. They strongly recommended the brembo 4 pot upgrade for the 300-350rwkw range and that race brakes in Sydney were the best place to get them. They also mentioned that the XYZ brake packages weren’t worth the cardboard they came in
