Definitely prefer the glass and open option, much nicer.
The style of the house is French provincial so I either need to match the theme or completely contrast and make it a feature... these are good too 0d66eb99b4b17459ef5246b71d1fd6f4.jpg
And none of those options are 60k worth lol.

Yes and no.
Depends on what it is.
A lot of stairs require a structural aspect... that costs $ with anything.

But yeah it's not great ... and if the property wasn't 5kms from city centre and we weren't going all out on everything else and living there I'd never spend the $.

I'm working on that....

Az is hard wiring everything ...everything will be linked technologically... cbus is just too much.... but every screen in the house, aircon, security, access will be controllable by phone or tablet. Anything else I don't really know I need or want for the extra $

I like the open modern look of the stairs but having them in closed you can benefit from the extra storage space under the stairs

Smart house.......oh yeah!!

I can control my security alarm and camera's from my phone. Would like to do more like lights and stuff but that will come later.

Maybe go wrought iron balustrade then, with either wrought iron or timber handrail
