Hi All,

Reading about these new ford mustangs that we are getting here in about December. Anyone have any ideas what Auto box they are using for these?

On a slightly different note. Are we placing bets on how long it will be before someone throws in a turbo 6? haha.

NFI hombre....you would think it would be some sort of zf box?...maybe someone has asked the question at those KPM viewing days across different states (not sure if WA gets one or not?). Or maybe Dave himself will comment ;)

I think it will be a little while before a barra conversion is done. I'm sure there's enough US goodies to make the V8s chop, at this early stage it would be pretty ballsy to chop up a mustang but they will eventually happen :P

If I had the money I'd butcher a V8 stang to put in a massive barra setup. I saw a few things about places experimenting with the 2.3L? Getting some reasonable power out of them. Think with some minor mods they got into the 12's down the 1/4. Dunno about what mods or how hard they were pushing it.

I would have thought 12s wouldn't be too hard....if jap cars can get 8s surely the mustang 2.3L can be upgraded bulk too :P I'm sure that was probably just basic mods and they haven't leant on it too hard. I should probably read some of the US mustang forums....maybe one day lol

Custom turbo 8 would be killer....that will surely happen sometime soon ;)

USA is way ahead of you...except it's not custom, you can already buy this kit ;)
