looking at buying a set of 6 front 4 rear brembos of a gt. its a stat rightoff for about 3000$ will they fit on my fg xr6t. whats your guys thoughts.

Should bolt straight on to an FG XR6T sedan. You will need to trim the rear dust plate to accommodate the larger calliper.

I could be wrong but from memory sedan rears are different to ute, so if you have a ute the rear will not fit.

Yeah, it's a very simple bolt on.

Get a flare spanner to help with removing the existing brake lines - a normal spanner might round off the nuts. I have a 10mm & 11mm combo flare spanner for that.

When fitting, use a drill and wire brush to clean the relevant metal surfaces - the insides of the disc rotors and where they go on the car (ie wheel bearing hubs). I also clean up the wheel studs and put a bit of grease on each one after that to prevent wheel nuts from seizing on (had that before).

Before fitting, it would be worth taking the discs to a brake place and having them checked to ensure there is no run-out (ie brake shudder) before doing all the work.
