interesting ozywalker

my thoughts are why you had surge issues? I only have a surge tank, stock in tank still and mines running sweet. stock fuel rail and all. im still on 1000cc injectors with more room. running e85. about 460kw.

was going to try caltracs too but dont like how low that sits. mines already lowered too. hmmm

not bad otherwise

Had surge issues because the pumps started to go.

Bellend how does the malwood tramp kit go? Is it a bushed setup and does it help with separation in the back end?

Love how the caltracs cause separation when under power, feels like it wants to keep on going whereas it used to either tramp or spin the tyres.

RRP is $945+post. I'll take you up on that offer jet if I ever need them. It's fine now but after the new tune it might be a different story

Expensive compared to the McDonald bros weld in kit which is like $400

The Calvert racing caltracs are $600 or just under posted from Race car engineering.

They do a great job but they are pretty harsh as they use a solid alloy bush for the front of the leaf.

Been trying to get onto Cat600 for one of the nolethane style bushes he makes for them but haven't had any luck.

I've got no issues with them being under the leaf, I don't really want to lower it (maybe 20mm lower in the rear at most). There's too many sharp ramps (carparks etc) that the chassis nearly scrapes on to make it worth lowering. Practical height 4TW.

Its a nolathane style bush in the eye bar

Because the set up is ontop of the leafs it does allow for maximum low if need be

It's the same principle as any tramp rod/bar caltrack to combat tramping

Malwood's kit is used on all the V8 brutes as it's the best in it's class hence the $$$
