Resonance chambers, just a hollow chamber.

Common on stock vehicles, manufacturers use them to tune the sound frequency to acheive a quieter intake sound , (no roar).

And hold a positive air pressure for a snappy response

Tuned intake chambers play a good part in some vehicles and playing with sizes has a nice effect also ;)

If something's there for a reason

Then you remove it

What do u think happens ?

When people remove the full intake and put on a full aftermarket unit the gains by pissing off the restrictive air box are over shadowed buy not having the chambers there

So its still a gain when you do a full intake
