19X9.5 Rims Can I Fit A 295 Rear

Hi everybody hoping someone can help me Iv bought a set of 19x9.5 inch rear wheels and wanting to see what the widest tire I could fit on the back of my 08 fgxr6t sedan it has 449rwk tuned by nizpro so traction is a huge problem I was hoping to fit a 295 any tire recommendations would be appreciated I'm only looking for grip don't care about the life of the tire as I only drive the car on weekends thanks heaps guys..

It will depend on how aggressive off set the rear rims are. You could put 235's on there and still have to roll the guards if the offset is too close to 0.

But I have no idea about the fitment on a sedan Rear as I have a ute.

And if I need to pump the guard does a panel shop do that??

you can buy the rollers off eBay for about 130 if your keen to do it yourself. Just need the roller and the misso's hair dryer and your set

If the offset is 36, a 275 tyre is optimal but coz you want/need more rubber on the road and are looking at a 295 be careful of the inside as the slight out flex - gotta be a better way of saying that - of the tyre wall may rub.

If offset is 40, the inside will be fine but that's when you are right on the edge of needing guard work........especially if the car is lowered
