"Captain Retard" Member 1,417 Member For: 9y 11m 20d Gender: Male Location: Shellharbour NSW Posted 09/06/14 02:02 AM Share Posted 09/06/14 02:02 AM Hmmmm, just messing around in the garage (read bored) and thought I'd see what the standard wheels would look like if I were to just paint the machined part of the wheel black.So I grabbed a roll of black elecky tape and just taped the outer spokes and left the gun metal inside colour alone.I always liked "Black Wheels on Yellow Cars" and think this gives a pretty good indication if I were to paint the outer bits in Satin Black and left the gun metal parts alone it makes for a good contrast, whatayareckn?If I just did the outer bright bits then it would be pretty easy too return them to stock.There's a fair bit of masking involved but hey I like too fiddle!Putting the black elecky tape on took less than half an hour!
