Hi all. Got a puncher the other day the tyre shop put a new tyre on. I already had new tyres all round but it's a differant brand. Now the stability light comes on a lot easier. I don't drive my car to hard so I never really noticed it coming on but now it does it a lot. Will fitting another of the same tyre as the new one to the rear solve this issue? Please help

Sounds like the new tyre offers less grip. I would check its on tight and at the correct pressure. If so then changing to the same as the other 3 should return the car to how it drove before.

1000ks or a 5 second bun. Ralph is correct the mould release compound needs to come off and the tyre ran through a few heat cycles. It may come good.

the mould release compound

Hahaha

Must be old stock tyres to get mouldy.

Side street tyre shop I bought my first ever set from (Ling Longs, oh yeah) the bloke just said "spin em up!" to get the grip happening. Like out the front of his shop, hahaha. Good times.
