So she's at 186000kms now and chewing through petrol on my e10 tune but e85 is surprisingly ok, but on both tunes there is a misfire at idle/light load, so I'm going to do a service on it and clean out the TB. Maybe redo the plugs as well

So got it back from CMS, New box is in, tailshaft coupling and transmission mount is in.

Found out the passengers side half shaft is flogged and after joe checking the tune it still has the slightest missfire at high vacuum/light load and it idles strange still and the fuel economy is still 3l/100km more than the trip meter. Gonna replace the plugs and maybe find a .8 gapped plug.

Fresh ZF feels wonderful though.

So Ive replaced the throttle body, MAP sensor, O2 sensor, spark plugs and its still using alot of fuel (but the ecu thinks it isnt) and still has this light load high vacuum missfire. The only thing left is injectors so I'm considering ordering some KPM ones and see if that fixes it. This issue is driving me up the wall. And I still have to do the CVs but that's another job on the list

Yeah....no. That's not how that works.

Were all those other parts "try and see" items?

Save your money and take it to someone who knows how to properly diagnose it.

Have you checked the manifold to cylinder head gasket for vac leaks?

No but Great idea, the exhaust manifold wasnt put back on properly when the head was done, wouldnt be suprised if the intake manifold wasnt put back on properly as well
