I have also been trying to find the difference between the two. I run an auto g6e turbo and am keen to go an gtx4202 to get a lower intake charge temperature. I get the feeling that a gtx4202 on a manual would be a bit laggy but on an auto it would be ok. Would it be a positive move to run a gtx4294?

GTX4202 and GTX4294 both have the same turbine -42.

4202 has a 102mm exducer on the compressor where as the 4294 has a 94mm exducer.

Rear wheels the same but 4202 has bigger front wheel and therefor higher hp potential.

A mate has a gtx4294 and it comes on pretty close to 4, manual.

I've got a 4202 and on the street has nothing on the 3540 for drive-ability.

I think people need to have a good think about what they want the car for. People are making fantastic power from gtx35's, more then enough for the street. Easy to fit.
