As usual, the poor man pays twice :) the cheap core didn't last. Oh well, it only cost me a fraction of what a genuine one would have. Even the two purchases combined were less than a genuine CHRA these days :spoton:

Oh farken goddamn. Well at least we all know how good those cheap cores are now. We really ought to chuck in for an xmas basket for all the money that man saves us.

Ordered some pink bits for the ute.

Xtreme 230mm twin plate ceramic clutch kit.
Probably the best bang for your clutch that holds decent power.
Will see how it goes.6ee90c3b8156334162b5fa46cc6e7474.jpg

Shout out for Matt at Race Brakes, top bloke.

I was going to be in the area for work, so I made a call, parts were in stock and got a killer price for a set of DBA T3 rotors and Project Mu NS400 pads for the front of the ute.

Picked up an hour later, happy days.

Mention you're on the forums and he'll look after you, if you go anywhere else for brakes you're stupid.

Bought one of those cheap tool cabinet/drawers on castors at Repco that they have on special every few weeks. It is small but I'm surprised at the quality and it was dirt cheap.

It would be no good for anyone too serious, but is perfect to keep a bunch of sockets, spanners, pliers, gloves, wd40, multimeter, etc. to easily roll around. My garage is tiny and full of the trailer, bikes, mowers, etc. and so to be able to roll my most common tools out to the car port or driveway will be great.
