Finally got off my butt over the weekend and replaced the low beam, parking and window indicator globes. also cleaned the K&N air filter.

Also replaced the oil cap with a new one considering the car's nearly 7 years old now.

Then washed the seats and applied good old Auto Glym conditioner to them.

Sure enough the fuel filter was fairly blocked.

This is the second filter after switching to e85 so it should be ok this time.

Imo it makes a good case for running a wideband permanently in the car as it wasn't losing noticeable power until leaner than 13:1.

Spent some time this morning to set up my injectors/tune to run properly on e85 rather than just massive slope changes from 98 that work "good enough".

When testing I turned the boost right down, as you do :stirthepot: and was pleasantly surprised that the car still goes plenty good for the street on 12 psi.

WDYDTYCT:

had an annoying mirror rattle that would happen from a decent amount of bass at specific frequencies...

Fixed it by using @yenchy's advice to stick a toothpick in there :) It's wedged hard between the plastic and the metal parts on an angle that pushes it also underneath the opening on the other side (like the one that it's pushed through).

Now I just have to fix the boot rattles to get (pretty much) clear bass :) It's pretty clear in the cabin, but not so clear outside the car (not sure that I really care about the outside haha)

There's already foam behind the license plate haha. The license plate is the least of my concerns at the moment.
