Hey guys

I'm the proud new owner of a 07 ttg.

Ofcourse I'm looking for more power over the standard setup, so far I have knocked the exhaust bung out and fitted a growler cold air box.

I also have Siemens 60lb injectors and a xcal3 flash tuner to be installed and tuned next week by Bruce heinriech at lonsdale.

Anyone on here had their territory turbo tuned by Bruce?

I have read good things about his tuning skills and he is priced very competitively.

I was a little concerned that he only does road tunes.

I'm not sure if he maybe just doesn't have a awd dyno?

He also said he would be winding the boost up to around 17-18psi, I thought that was a little excessive for the puny standard top mount cooler? Would have thought it would suffer mad heat soak.

Any guestimations on power output I might be looking at after this work is performed?

Cheers guys

Tom

Bruce only has a rwd dyno... welcome... hope all goes well.... I haven't personally driven a ttg tuned by him but his reputation with all turbo fords and his master tuning ability are amazing so you should be fine...

He won't push it past it's limits unless u ask him too...

Power figures are really dependant on every individual car so just wait and see.

Welcome and goodluck

This is the part where the sig is supposed to go right?

Alrighty no dramas, sounds like the man knows his fords well!

Loving the car, feels so solid and smooth on the road.

Would Bruce have the ability to tune the zf box aswell?

Would it be recommended at this level?

I gather the fords have some sort of ecu safety feature where when intake air temps go up it pulls out timing or adds fuel to stay away from the detination threshold?

What do ya mean by the pArt the sig is ment to go?

Cheers mate

Lol she's using tapatalk forum app on the phone and hasn't turned off the tapatalk sig, turn it off farkin fluff! Haha

Good luck with the tuning mate, I don't think you'd need the zf tune at that stage, I'd say you only need it when over 350/400killawasps

Yep Bruce does zf tuning... however a zf tune is quite harsh in gear changes... kinda feels like the old days with a shift kit. Depends how far u wanna go with it... I know I personally like the zf tune coz when it hits 2nd it kicks sideways or chirps under low throttle... however with an awd car not sure if it's really necessary... depends as u said on how far u wanna push it.. if your not doing 1/4mile then may not be necessary. However if u do want to do it then I recommend u get your zf serviced if u haven't alreAdy... guessing with an 07 model you would have cracked 100 or nearly... definitely get a trans service if that's the case and u want the zf tune....

Also yes these cars do have a sensor so that for example on a cold night where the air is denser and it can fit more in it will compensate by adding a bit more fuel. . Hence why turbo cars run better in cold .

Ah right awesome mate cheers, I'll leave the zf be for daily duties.

The car actually has 155,xxxklms. :(

Should I have the trans serviced anyway? Bruce said its a costly procedure to have done as the oil is expensive.

Allot of us .sa peeps just did it.... we did ourselves and bought all the stuff... you should do it and u will see good results I'd it hasn't been done ever... cost about $700 I think if I remember for the bits and the oil... but well worth it.
