Hi all, finally got my hands on my first Ford turbo - a FG XR6T! Thought it would never happen but I hope it was worth the wait. Delivery on Friday the 13th - hope that's a good sign.

I'm back.

Used to have a BA XR6T Manual & hung out a lot until we got a Territory, BUT we just sold that and now I'm hunting a FG XR6T Auto.

Test drove an '08 with 18k km and Wow!!!!!!!!

I just loved the crackle of the exhaust as the auto grabbed 2nd (is this normal? sounded awesome!!) in sports mode wtih WOT & tyres chirped.

Cant believe how much better they've got since the BA.

I'm finding these cars a lot rarer than the commonwhore SS on the used car lot.

any how thanks for keeping the site so informative.

Hi guys,

Picked up my '08 FG XR6T in Nitro the week of Christmas. So far I've just put in the K&N, and an Xforce cat back fitted by Haks at Performance Exhaust in Northmead - today! I love this car - it's my first turbo car and I just love everything about it. Getting some tints next week hopefully and then maybe a new turbosmart bov.
