Fark yeeeaaahhhh!!!

Got it done and it felt great. The shoulder took a bit of warming up and stretching to stop hurting but I'm finished and it's less sore now than when I started. The shed was 30c but I'm kinda used to it so it didn't suck.

One thing that I've noticed lately is that it's important to have faith in your program. Although I haven't squatted 132.5kg before today, the program called for it and due to the previous training in the program, I was ready to do a weight that I hadn't done before. The squats were full depth and came up fast. I did paused deadlifts that felt great and came up very fast even on the 8th rep.

This program has me squatting 147.5kg for 1 to 4 reps in just 10 days and I have full faith that I will get it done but not so much faith that my barbell wont sh*t itself.

Farken gainzzz :)

I just calculated that I've done about 330 hours of lifting weights over the past 7 months.

That's approximately 14 days of 24/7 lifting.

You might say that is mildly interesting. :)

Fark me am I the only person actually lifting weights around here???!!! Surely I'm not the only person who has started a beginner program with beginner weights and progressed as the months go by?!?!?!

Today I just did 3x3 of squats.

132.5

135

137.5

I wont do any deadlifting or upper body work until my shoulder is better.

Also fark working out when it's 38 in the shed.

Meh I'm not complaining.

You should be posting about making gains as it will show other beginners what they can achieve and how they can achieve it.

It should be noted that there is a difference between going to the gym and lifting weights.

Today is the first day that I will have squatted over 140kg. The program is calling for 142.5kg for 1 to 2 reps on the last set.

I'm just waiting another half an hour or so for my weetbix to kick in :dancing:

I've been lifting for 37 weeks and two days.

Well, I got it and I remember a time that I thought I never could.

The bar is 10kg and the plates are, from the inside, 5, 20, 20, 15, 5 and 1.25.

Get motivated people!!! I'm not better than anyone, I've just put in the work. You can do it too!!!
