used to happen on early BA's, and any other model driven by guys that are the size of a house! Don't get me wrong I've got a fat arse, I'm talking about really big guys!

I believe they craked around the screw that held them in, as far as I know you have to buy a new trim

I broke mine in my old car when I was sitting with my feet out the door talking, and yeah it did break around thescrew which held it in. used some special plastic glue until it let go again then just bought a new one, never broke again and wasn't expensive at all from memory

Mine broke ages ago, it broke when I sat on the edge of the seat cleaning the drivers side window...

Havent bothered trying to fix it, but if there is a easy, CHEAP option then I'll do it..

Onboost, did you get a replacement from ford? Or a new seat alltogether?

Mate, I would think that you could get it as a spare part from ford...

Maybe even get it plastic welded?

Havent had it happen, so not to sure... but that would be my first two thoughts...
