So my built tailshaft broke last night at the drags right at the back coupling where it attaches to the diff. You guys reckon I could expect warranty seeing it's only 3 months old or is it a case of no warranty on the track..

They'll know it's been towed there with semi slicks on it that are covered in melted rubber

I was pretty clear what the car was gonna be used for and he said that shaft was on a bunch of 10 second Falcons so it really shouldn't have broken imo

This is the difference in the $900 tailshaft and the one I get for my customers at over $2000 ;)

Well I swapped over to Optus this morning so here's to hoping it's better. 

 

It includes a fetch tv box as well which I was going to buy anyway so that's a bonus.

Yeah probably right. Mine was 1300 though

 

As an upside I highly recommend the nankang ar-1 for straight line grip. They hook up quite well once warm.....

Tell the truth about the tailshaft. Who built it. Was it Phil at Final drive?? If so he will look after you

 

Take a few photos of the broken area and I will give my opinion...
